All cats deserve a loving and safe home

Caring For Animals 2001 is a group of volunteers promoting the wellbeing of all animals.

Our primary focus is to rescue, neuter and provide a home for feral cats.

Established in 2001 by Joan Clifford in her house in Essex, we’ve since relocated to Cumbria where there is plenty of space to provide a safe and loving home to unwanted cats that would otherwise be unable to survive on their own or put down.

However, many of our cats are old or sick so their upkeep is quite expensive. Our veterinary bills cost on average £3000 a month, and as a group we are in desperate need of funds. You can help us continue to provide a safe and loving environment for our otherwise unwanted cats by:

  • Making a donation
  • Sponsoring a cat
  • Fundraising for us
